WaterSense, a partnership program sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, makes it easy for Americans to save water and protect the environment. Look for the WaterSense label to choose quality, water-efficient products.

The WaterSense program has the following requirements :

» Faucets - 1.5 gallons per minute (GPM) at 60 pounds per square inch (PSI)

» Toilets - 1.28 gallons per flush (GPF) with solid waste removal of 350 grams

» Urinals - .5 GPF

» Showerheads - 1-2 GPM at 80 PSI Note: This standard has not been finalized
